If you have a label or tag design that you would like to reuse over and over again with only minor changes, you can quickly turn it into a template for use with the Wizard function.
The first thing to do is determine which elements on the design will need to change whenever you call the Wizard, and which elments will stay the same.
One at a time, select each element that should remain the same and then use the Position Tools Panel to mark each element as Locked - Everything.
Now select each of the text or heading elements that may change and use the Text Tools Panel to set the data source to ASK. It is also a good idea to name each of these elements to something meaningful in the Element Selector Toolbar.
To save this design as a template, select the Save as Template from the File Menu.
That's it! Next time you press the Wizard button you will see your template and if you select it, DIY will ask the user to enter in text for all the elements you marked as having an ASK data source... now you can start making new designs from the original in a flash!
